Okan University Hospital came into service in 2016 with the vision of contributing to the development of future health standards and becoming of the leading institutions in the health sector. Opened by Okan Culture, Education and Sports Foundation in 1999, Okan University constitutes the foundation of the hospital.
Having collected the academic studies performed in the field of health under the umbrella of “OKAN HEALTH”, the university finally established the OKAN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL to which it will convey its accumulation and experienced in the health sector and transferred the national and international success of the “OKAN” brand into the health sector.
Okan University reinforces its experience in the health and medicine education with Okan University Medicine Faculty, Training and Research Hospital and presents it for service along with its;
- Faculty of Medicine,
- Faculty of Dentistry,
- Faculty of Health Sciences,
- Vocational School of Healthcare Services,
- Hospital Simulation Center (700 square meters), which are available in the Health Sciences Education Complex.
Okan University Hospital, which is an easily accessible health center, follows the advancing technology closely as per the corporate culture and provides the health services with the purpose of making the patient satisfaction and its service quality sustainable. Settled on a land of 50 thousand square meters, it serves as a fully equipped general hospital with its employees over 500, associates and physicians over 100, designated capacity of 250 beds, 10 operation theatres and 47 intensive care units with beds for newborns, pediatric and adult patients and its technologic infrastructure. Okan University Hospital where advanced treatment and diagnosis methods meet the increasing developing medical technologies provides high standard health services for patients focused on patients’ satisfaction and with its multidisciplinary approach.
Scientific research and development studies are also executed at Okan University Hospital with the purpose of developing advanced diagnosis and treatment methods for issues concerning the health of the public and the medicine training.
